Limitless Tennis & Cranleigh tennis academy!
Cranleigh is very excited to announce a brand-new initiative, unique to Rutlish School, in association with Limitless Tennis and Cranleigh Tennis Club.

Limitless Tennis are looking for the brightest local talent to join our Tennis Academy. Limitless Tennis are the coaching company based at Cranleigh Tennis Club in Merton Park, run by Grant Fellows, an LTA, Level 5 Coach; (the highest attainable qualification).

Grant’s vision is to find Rutlish boys who have a talent for tennis and train them to the highest standard of tennis with the ultimate aim of having them compete nationally and beyond.

We will open the Academy to players that attend different schools but they must be able to make it to Cranleigh for 3.30pm each day.

Aims of the Academy:
  • To identify and intensively train children who show genuine talent for tennis to allow them to pursue tennis to the highest possible level with intensive specialist sports training whilst also pursuing their academic studies full-time.
  • To offer a non-academic route to excellence.
  • To ensure that demographic or socio-economic status is not a barrier for children who want to excel at tennis.
This is a rare and very valuable opportunity for players who want to be the very best they can be.
For the selected students it will involve complete dedication and daily after-school commitment. The course will include:

  • 8-10 hours of after-school tennis coaching per week
  • Dedicated instruction from Level 5 Coach
  • Coaching on brand-new artificial clay courts
  • Nutrition, lifestyle and competition training
  • Tournament planning, Goal-Setting and termly reports

Any student who is interested will be able to submit their interest in attending the trials.
We will be holding a trial on Saturday 14th July 1pm – 3pm.

There is a maximum of 8 spaces available. There will be a per week cost (£30-£50 per week) which will be funded by both the school and the parents on a 1:9 ratio with cost being kept to the bare minimum.

You should be aware that acceptance into the academy will require 100% commitment but who knows where it will take you….
We wish you luck!
